GLOBAL INTERNSHIP

During the summer of 2022 I was able to complete an 8 week abroad internship in Dublin, Ireland. I worked for a residential firm called Carton Interiors. I was able to work on several projects while at the firm including multiple residential homes, smaller kitchen designs, and even a women's shelter. I primarily worked in AutoCAD and SketchUp to create space planning and 3D renderings for the company. I built entire models of the houses in SketchUp and used Enscape to render and create visual perspectives. Additionally, I created mood boards on InDesign and picked out finishes for smaller projects. I was also able to participate in a "Designer's Day Out" with the Interiors Association of Ireland to see different manufactures across Dublin and network with professionals in Ireland. I am so thankful for my time at Carton Interiors and loved it so much!
